On April 6, 2013, a rescue mission for dredging workers caught in the surge at Kaoping river, Pingtung. Affected by the frontal surface of plum rains, Kaoping river in Pingtung surged and five dredging workers got caught in the water. The situation was critical. Type AS-365(No. NA-105) from Group 2 of the 3rd Service Battalion was dispatched to execute the mission. With turbulent and continually swollen river, the flight raced against time to do rescue. The mission was successfully fulfilled.
