Is there an “emergency medical technician (EMT)” on board of the Corps’ helicopter?

  • Release Date:2016-05-09
  • Source:NASC

There are the pilot, copilot, and crew chief on board of every helicopter of the Corps, but there is no EMT. In an air rescue mission, a crew of medical specialists is requested from supporting agencies, such as Ministry of Health and Welfare, Coast Guard Administration or National Fire Agency, as appropriate to go on a mission together.
