In response to the “Implementation Plan for Promoting ODF-CNS15251 as the Governmental Standard Document Format,” the relevant business undertakers from the respective units should familiarize themselves with the ODF free software function and operating instructions. The National Airborne Service Corps, MOI conducted the “2022 Education Training on Promoting Standard Open Document Format (ODF) and Operations” at the Briefing Office (1F) of the Ministry of the Interior Information Center on March 30, 2022. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the respective units each appointed one person to serve as the seed teacher coach to join the training. All trainees should perform self-management and relevant protective measures in accordance with the provisions of the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
The purpose of this education training is to enable colleagues to gain an insight into the advantages of using the Open Document Format (ODF). They include: free download, ODF access, cross-platform and cross-app characteristics, international exchanges, preservation, avoidance of version upgrade conflict, official document exchanges and storage standards. In the course, instructor Chang Kuo-Ping from the National Chin-Yi University of Technology was specially invited to impart the Open Document Format (ODF), introduction to the ODF document application environment, the basics of word processing in Writer, create file, page styles, input text, pagination insertion, reserved blank pages for the directory, style and format setting, ordered lists, insertion of tables, insertion of charts, insert chart, insert page number, insert directory batch convert files, PDF export, etc. The Calc course covers file management, worksheet management, cell formatting, conditional formatting, create list, filling the cells, statistical charts, data sorting, data filtering, file export and other modes of operations. Everyone gave positive learning feedbacks.
