National Airborne Service Corps Duty Implementation Statistics in January 2021

  1. Disaster relief

    1. Response to fire: 6 sorties, 78 tons of water dropped, 39 water dropping runs.



  2. Search & rescue

    1. Search and rescue in the mountains: 25 sorties, 8 people rescued, 8 passengers, 1,854 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.

    2. Search and rescue at sea: 15 sorties, 5 people rescued.



  3. Emergency medical

    1. Medical evacuation: 2 sorties, 2 people rescued.

    2. Medical referral: 8 sorties, 8 people rescued, 8 passengers.



  4. Reconnaissance

    1. Maritime (coastal) aerial patrol: 11 sorties.

    2. Traffic patrol: 7 sorties.

    3. Aerial photography for homeland planning: 20 sorties.



  5. Transportation: 1 sortie, 10 passengers, 443 kg of material, equipment or fuel carried.

  6. Preparation

    1. Training flight: 135 sorties.

    2. Maintenance flight (factory flight test): 54 sorties.

    3. Test run: 118 sorties.

    4. Joined duty training: 8 sorties.
