  • Release Date:2017-08-21
  • Source:NASC

Breaking through the limitations of old models, the UH-60M Black Hawk can fly over mountains higher than 3,000 m above the sea level and implement night rescue missions, which has largely enhanced the 3-dimensional disaster relief and rescue efficiency. From July of 2016 to June 30 of 2017, Black Hawks have flown 241 sorties, including 125 fire rescue sorties (about 96.15% of helicopter fire rescue missions implemented during the same period), 83 sorties for mountain search and rescue mission (about 50.61% of helicopter mountain search and rescue missions implemented during the same period) and 33 sorties for rescue at sea and transportation. The Black Hawk has done its job perfectly and facilitated air rescue missions.
