2013-10-21 An Air Transfer was requested for a Ludao citizen suffered from Alcoholic Cirrhosis

A Ludao citizen 陳OO (male, was born in 1972) suffered from alcoholic cirrhosis and was delivered to Ludao Health Office for first aid. As the office lacked of medical facilities and the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS to transfer the patient to Taitung Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare was requested. 
The 3rd team of the 3rd NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center at 21:20 today (the 21st) to implement the air transport mission. The standby flight crew immediately completed related works and dispatched UH-1H helicopter number NA-512 to implement the mission. The helicopter took off at 21:37 towards Ludao with a nurse on board and landed at Ludao Airport at 21:58. After picked up 1 patient and 1 family member, it took off from Ludao at 22:05 and landed at Taitung at 22:22. The patient was transported to Taitung Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare by the ground ambulance for treatment and the mission was successfully completed.
