A Kinmen citizen 呂O勇 (male, was born in 1978) was suffering from acute myocardial infarction and required proactive intensive care. After the evaluation of Kinmen Hospital, it was confirmed that local hospital lacked of medical facilities and an EMS to transfer the patient to the main island was requested.
After received a notification of implementing EMS mission from the NASC Duty Command Center, the helicopter of the 1st team of the 1st NASC battalion took off at 20:10 on the 28th from Taipei Songshan Airport and flew to the destination with the maximum horsepower. It arrived in the Kinmen Airport at 21:55. After picked up 4 members including the patient, family member and medical personnel, it immediately took off again at 22:15 and returned to Taipei. The helicopter landed at Taipei Songshan Airport at 00:15 on the 29th and the patient was taken away by medical personnel for implementing a further treatment. This mission was successfully completed.
