National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) applied for NASC’s support of transporting heart donated by E-DA Hospital to NTUH for organ transplantation. The crew of the 2nd team of the 3rd NASC battalion immediately performed pre-flight prompts and related works after received the command. The AS-365 helicopter number NA-105 dispatched to implement the mission had its engine turned on at 02:30 and took off from Kaohsiung International Airport at 02:35 after joined the personnel, who carried the organ for transplantation. The helicopter took off from Kaohsiung International Airport at 02:35 and landed at Taipei Songshan Airport at 04:25. Then the organ for transplantation was immediately transported to NTUH and this mission of transporting organ for transplantation was successfully completed.
