A Ludao citizen 蘇OO (female, was born in 1986) suffered from unstoppable nose bleeding was sent to Ludao Health Office. As the office lacked of medical facilities and the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS to transfer the patient to Taitung Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare was requested.
The 3rd team of the 3rd NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center at 22:32 today (the 18th) to implement the Ludao air transfer mission. The standby crew immediately completed relevant works and dispatched UH-1H helicopter number NA-512. The helicopter took off at 22:55 towards Ludao with a nurse on board, and landed in Ludao Airport to pick up 1 patient and 1 family member. At 23:22, the helicopter returned to Taitung Airport and landed at 23:40. The patient was transferred to Taitung Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare by the ambulance. The mission was successfully completed.
