The 1st team of the 2nd NASC battalion stationed in Taichung received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center by fax at 20:48 today (the 30th): A patient of Tri-Service General Hospital Penghu Branch of Ministry of Health Welfare 蔡O怡 (female, was born in 1986) cut her left hand and all of the five fingers of her left palm was cut off. As hospitals in the region lacked of medical facilities, an EMS to transfer the patient to Tung's Taichung Metro Harbor Hospital was requested.
After received the command, the team dispatched AS-365 Dolphin Helicopter NA-107 to implement the mission. The flight crew turned the helicopter engine on at 20:55 and took off from Taichung CCK Airport at 21:12. After landed at Magong Airport at 21:50 and picked up the patient, family member and medical personnel totally 3 people, the helicopter took off again at 21:55. At 22:38, it landed at Taichung CCK Airport and the patient was transported to Tung's Taichung Metro Harbor Hospital by the ambulance for treatment. The mission was successfully completed.
