The 1st team of the 2nd NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center by fax at 20:45 today (the 3rd): A patient of Kinmen Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare 蔡O傑 (male, was born in 1977) was suffering from head trauma. As the hospital lacked of medical facilities and the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS to transfer the patient to Taipei Veterans General Hospital was requested.
The flight crew of the helicopter number NA-107 turned on the helicopter engine at 20:55, took off from Taichung CCK at 21:04 and landed at Kinmen Airport at 22:20 to pick up the patient, family member and medical personnel totally 4 people. It then started the engine at 22:45 and took off at 22:50. After landed at Taipei Songshan Airport at 00:35, the patient was transported to Taipei Veterans General Hospital by the ambulance and this mission was successfully completed.
