2013-12-5 Emergency Transfer of a Ludao Tourist suffered from Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT)

A tourist in Ludao 陳OO (female, was born in 1977) suffered from paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) was sent to Ludao Health Bureau for first aid. As the office lacked of medical facilities and the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS to transfer the patient to Mackay Memorial Hospital Taitung Branch was requested. 
The team received a call from the NASC Duty Command Center at 09:30 today (the 5th) to implement the Ludao air transfer mission. After completed relevant works, the standby personnel of the 3rd team of the 3rd NASC battalion immediately dispatched UH-1H helicopter number NA-507 to take off at 09:50 and headed to Ludao with a nurse on board. After landed at Ludao Airport and picked up 1 patient and 1 family member, the helicopter took off at 10:11 and landed at Taitung Airport at 10:32. The patient was then transferred to Mackay Memorial Hospital Taitung Branch for treatment and this mission was successfully completed.
