2013-12-10 Emergency Transfer of a Kinmen Citizen suffered from Intracerebral Hemorrhage

The 1st team of the 1st NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center today (the 9th): A Kinmen citizen 何O輝 (male, was born in 1951) was suffering from intracerebral hemorrhage and required a proactive intensive care. After the evaluation of Kinmen Hospital, it was confirmed that the hospital lacked of necessary medical facilities and an EMS to transfer the patient to the main island was applied. 
After receive the EMS mission, the team dispatched AS-365 helicopter number NA-106 to take off at 18:58 and headed to Kinmen with its maximum and constant horsepower. The helicopter landed at Kinmen Airport at 20:30 and picked up the patient, family member and medical personnel totally 3 people. At 20:51, it took off from Kinmen Airport and landed at the apron of Taipei Songshan Airport at 22:25. The patient was then took care by medical personnel for treatment and this EMS mission was successfully completed.
