2013-12-14 Transfer of a Patient from Magong to the Main Island for EMS

The 2nd team of the 3rd NASC battalion stationed in Kaohsiung Airport received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center today (the 14th): A Magong citizen 陳O花 (female, 69 years old) suffered from hemorrhagic shock. As the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS to transfer the patient to Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital was requested. 
After received the command, the team had immediately dispatched the AS-365 Dolphin Helicopter number NA-105 to implement the Magong EMS mission. After performed pre-flight prompts, the standby crew immediately turned on the helicopter engine at 09:15 and took off at 09:18 on the direction of Magong. Based on the spirit of saving lives, the flight crew travelled with the fastest speed and landed at Magong at 09:50. The helicopter then took off again at 09:55 and headed back to Kaohsiung with the fastest speed. After the helicopter landed at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital at 10:45, the patient was took care by medical personnel and this outlying islands EMS mission was successfully completed.
