The 3rd team of the 3rd NASC battalion stationed in Taitung Fengnian received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center at 18:30 today (the 16th) to implement the Ludao air transport mission. After completed related works, the standby crew immediately dispatched UH-1H helicopter number NA-507 to implement the mission. The helicopter took off at 18:58 and headed to Ludao with a nurse on board. After landed at Ludao Airport at 19:15 and picked up a patient and a family member, it then took off again from Ludao at 19:18 and flew back to Taitung Airport. After it landed at 19:35, the patient was immediately transported to Taitung Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare for treatment and this outlying islands EMS mission was successfully completed.
