The 1st team of the 2nd NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center at 19:20 today (the 30th): A patient of Kinmen Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare莊O勳 (male, was born in the 1960s) was suffering from facial fracture and impaired eye movement. As the hospital lacked of medical facilities, an EMS to transfer the patient to Taipei Veterans General Hospital for treatment was requested.
After received the command, the NA-107 crew started the engine at 19:35 and took off from Taichung CCK Airport at 19:43. After landed at Kinmen Airport at 20:43 and picked up the patient, family member and medical personnel totally 3 people, the helicopter restarted the engine at 21:25 and took off at 21:30. At 23:20, it landed at Taipei Songshan Airport and the patient was transported to Taipei Veterans General Hospital by the ambulance. The mission was successfully completed.
