After received the request from Taichung City Fire Department to support the Dajian Mountain and Xue (Snow) Mountain search and rescue mission, the NASC Duty Command Center had informed the 1st team of the 3rd NASC battalion to transport the SSRT members of Dajian Mountain at 23:45 on 3 January; besides, the mountain climbers of Xue Mountain who had lost the contact were found and waiting for the helicopter on the East Peak of Xue Mountain. The NA-603 crew therefore took off at 09:25 today (the 4th), landed at Fushoushan Farm to pick up 4 rescue members at 10:30, took off again at 10:35 and headed to Youpolan Mountain (next to Dajian Mountain). After landed at Youpolan Mountain at 10:50, 4 rescue members got off the helicopter while another 3 rescue members, who were waiting at Youpolan Mountain, got on board. The helicopter took off again at 10:55 and headed to the East Peak of Xue Mountain. At 11:05, it landed at the East Peak of Xue Mountain to pick up 2 rescued mountain climbers and 2 rescue members. It then took off again at 11:08 and headed to Dongshi Riverside Park. After the landing at 11:35, the passengers all got off the helicopter and the rescued mountain climbers were delivered to hospital by the Taichung City Fire Department. The NASC crew had once again completed the mission.
