The 1st team of the 2nd NASC battalion stationed in Taichung CCK Airport received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center today (the 7th) at 12:55: A patient of Kinmen Hospital of Ministry of Health Welfare 陳O忠 (male, was born in 1980) was suffering from acute myocardial infarction. As the hospital lacked of medical facilities, an EMS to transfer the patient to Taipei Veterans General Hospital was requested. After received the command, the team immediately dispatched AS-365 Dolphin Helicopter number NA-107 to implement the Kinmen EMS mission. After the standby crew performed pre-flight prompts, the helicopter had its engine turned on at 13:05 and took off from Taichung CCK Airport at 13:15. After landed at Kinmen Airport at 14:25 and picked up the patient and family members totally 3 people, the helicopter had its engine turned on again at 14:50 and took off at 15:00 towards Taipei Veterans General Hospital. At 16:48, the helicopter landed at the apron of Taipei Veterans General Hospital and the medical personnel immediately took the patient away for treatment. The mission was successfully completed.
