2014-1-10 Air Transfer of a Ludao Citizen with Suspected Cerebral Hemorrhage

Ludao citizen王OO (male, was born in 1982) suffered from suspected cerebral hemorrhage and was given first aid by Ludo Health Office. As the office lacked of medical facilities and the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS to transfer the patient to Mackay Memorial Hospital Taitung Branch was requested. 
The 3rd team of the 3rd NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center at 20:40 today (the 10th) to implement the Ludao air transfer mission. After the standby crew completed related works, the UH-1H helicopter number NA-512 immediately took off at 21:00 and headed directly to Ludao with a nurse on board. After landed at Ludao Airport at 21:20 and picked up a patient and a family member, the helicopter then took off from Ludao at 21:25 and landed at Taitung Airport at 21:42. The ambulance on the ground then transported the patient to Mackay Memorial Hospital Taitung Branch immediately for treatment. The mission was successfully completed.
