2014-3-1 Emergency Transfer of a Ludao Citizen suffered from Suspected Myocardial Infarction

A Ludao citizen陳○福 (male, was born in 1953) suffered from suspected myocardial infarction was delivered to Health Office for first aid. As the office lacked of medical facilities and the patient was in a critical condition, an EMS transfer by the helicopter was applied to transfer the patient to Mackay Memorial Hospital Taitung Branch for treatment. 
The 3rd team of the 3rd NASC battalion received a notification from the NASC Duty Command Center today (the 1st) at 12:10 to implement the Ludao EMS transfer mission. The standby crew immediately completed relevant works and UH-1H helicopter number NA-507 was dispatched to take off at 12:16. With a nurse on board, the helicopter headed directly to Ludao and landed at Ludao Airport at 12:33 to pick up 1 patient and 1 family member. At 12:37, it took off from Ludao and returned to Taitung Airport. The helicopter landed at 12:50 and the patient was immediately transferred to Mackay Memorial Hospital Taitung Branch by the ambulance for treatment. The mission was successfully completed.
