The 2nd team of the 3rd NASC battalion received an order from the NASC Duty Command Center at 19:00 today (the 4th) and the AS-365 Dolphin helicopter number NA-104 was dispatched to implement the Lanyu EMS mission. The standby crew immediately implemented the mission and took off from Kaohsiung Airport at 19:20, headed towards the direction of Lanyu. Based on the spirit of saving lives, the helicopter travelled with the fastest speed and landed at Lanyu Airport at 20:10 to pick up the patient, family member and nurse, totally 3 people. After all the members got on board, the helicopter took off at 20:15 and headed to Taitung Airport with the fastest speed. After it landed at Taitung Airport at 22:45, these three people were transferred to Taitung Hospital by the ambulance. This outlying islands EMS mission was successfully completed.
