B-234 is manufactured by Boeing, a civilian version of Boeing CH-47 Chinook, with 4.5 hours of endurance and 500km of mission radius, which enables it to perform long-distance task for arriving Kinmen, Matsu, Penghu and other remote islands. It can also deliver small bulldozers and other machinery for disaster relief into mountain areas. B-234 is equipped with Real-time video transmission system to assist National Rescue Command Center to make a judgment of site situation.
