【Let’s listen to what he has to say】

I flew for the Army Air Corps for 20 years. I have a beautiful wife and 2 great kids and we live a happy life. I was retired from the Air Corp in Nov 2003 and reported immediately to the Airborne Service Corps after that. I just want to do what I do best, serving my country and our people. Friends say I am a good guy who always reaches out a helping hand to whoever needs help. Perhaps it is that personality that drives me to do my job right every time I jump on the helicopter and fly a rescue mission in the hope to save people from suffering and make sure they are safe. Sometimes, the families of those who were rescued brought gifts to visit me as a token of appreciation. It is not my position to accept them but I hate to turn them down, so I just took a piece of something out of their gifts. Seeing that people are happy is what drives me to wake up in the morning and go to my office with a smile. Last but not the least, I want to thank my wife and kids who allow me to go to work care-free. Thank you, everyone on the Corps who has been there for me. I am not the only one that puts me on this stage. There are too many people to thank, so thank God!
