  1. After joined the air rescue team in 2002, Yao has upheld the spirit of aircraft maintenance works as trained by the military to accept NASC rescue trainings and proactively learn therefrom. Yao has not only saved the lives and ensured the safety of innumerable people, but also successfully completed all missions with tangible performance. With recognition and affirmation from his colleagues and supervisors, Yao was elected as the 2009 Outstanding Airborne Servicemen of NASC, Ministry of the Interior (MOI).
  2. Was dispatched for the following emergency sorties between Sep and Dec of 2014:
    Mountain Rescue: 10 sorties, totally rescued 23 people.
  3. Was dispatched for the following emergency sorties in 2015:
    Fire rescue: 10 sorties.
    Mountain Rescue: 18 sorties.
    Implemented the UH-60M delivery training with 15 sorties in December.
  4. Was dispatched for the following emergency sorties in 2016:
    Yushan Weather Station Supply: 1 sorties.
    Mountain Rescue: 10 sorties.
    Ching Hsiang Drill: 7 sorties.
  5. Was dispatched for the following emergency sorties between Jan and Aug of 2017:
    Fire rescue: 8 sorties.
    Mountain Rescue: 5 sorties.
  6. As the crew chief, Yao does his job very well and always works seamlessly with the air and ground crews. He gets the job done when it comes to saving lives and making sure that everyone is safe. He was also elected as the 2012 Rescue worker of good performance of Executive Yuan.
