1. Mr. Tsai has been very active in learning rescue skills, risk assessment and crew and resource management ever since he joined the airborne rescue force in 2003. He always has a session with his air and ground crews after every sortie on how to make the next mission much safer. He became a pilot-in-command for UH-1H in 2006. Being a positive and devoted person, Mr. Tsai loves to talk about new knowledge and skills with new recruits in the hope to teach them what he has learned. He was transferred briefly to the B-234 crew in 2008 and 2015, and is highly recognized by coworkers and supervisors.

5. Mr. Tsai does his jobs very well every time he is dispatched and always works seamlessly with the air and ground crews. He gets the job done when it comes to saving lives and making sure that everyone is safe.
