Ching Yen-Yuan was inaugurated to take over the heavy duty of NASC captain

Today (the 31st), National Airborne Service Corps, Ministry of the Interior held the captainship handover ceremony. Having the Minister of the Interior Hsu Kuo-Yung presided over the event, the new captain Ching Yen-Yuan officially took over the heavy duty of the NASC captain from the acting captain. After expressing his gratitude to Vice Captain Wong for being the acting captain over this period, Hsu Kuo-Yung then recognized Captain Ching Yen-Yuan for his abundant experiences in aviation and contributions to aviation during his services in the military for more than 30 some years. He has earned recognition in military. He also hoped that, after taking over the duty of NASC captain, Ching would make even more contributions to the society and country with his great expertise in aviation area. He also hoped that Ching would lead all NASC staffs to continuously implement the government’s policy and guard our people at any time and any place.

Captain Ching Yen-Yuan, on the other hand, expressed that he would follow the footprints of the previous captain Tung Chien-Cheng to encourage fleet integration and update policy therefor (firstly the conversion and preparation of Black Hawk helicopters); enhance flying and maintenance trainings; to optimize the planning and implementation of deployment; enhance NASC’s safety measures to effectively maintain flight safety. Graduated from the 22nd class of Political Warfare Cadres Academy, Ching Yen-Yuan was positioned as the captain of the 22nd Squadron leader, 2nd Group, ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command; chief air inspector of the 2nd Group, ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command; operational training chief, ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command; chief staff officer of the 601st Brigade, ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command; chief of aviation section, Directorate of Operations, Army Command Headquarters; director of the Third Division (operational training), ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command; brigadier of the 602nd Brigade, ROC Army Aviation and Special Forces Command; deputy chief of Staff of Army Command Headquarters; and executive and assistant under-secretary, Under-Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Office, Ministry of National Defense. Captain Ching is fully experienced trained in the field.
